  • Personal Hygiene Products
  • BSA Handbook
  • Backpack or duffel bag (depending on outing)
  • Sleeping bag (20 degree) in waterproof bag lined with plastic bag
  • Closed cell foam sleeping pad
  • Small pillow (optional)
  • Waterproof ground tarp (Space Blanket)
  • Straps to hold sleeping bag, pad and tent on pack (not bungee cords)
  • Clothes suitable for foretasted weather and activities (packed in plastic freezer bags)
  • Class A uniform (always worn while traveling to and returning from a camp out)
  • (A Few)Jacket, coat, or sweatshirt (wool or polypro preferable, weight appropriate for the season)
  • Troop 39 Class B T-shirt
  • Poncho/rain gear
  • Hiking boots
  • Toilet paper
  • Mess Kit
  • Bottle for Beverage 
  • Pocketknife (must have a Totin’ Chip and blade must be less than or equal to palm width)
  • Matches (when permitted ( Chit Needed )
  • Small Rope ( Optional )
  • Flashlight (small with extra batteries) LED and Regular
  • Compass (liquid filled)
  • Whistle
  • Sunscreen (at least 15 SPF) and don’t forget to use it
